WKR 33,8 - keel laying - July 2006

W obecności Ambasador Republiki Angoli, przedstawicieli Polskiego Rejestr Statków oraz kierownictwa Navimor International, realizacja kontraktu zawartego z Ministerstwem Rybołówstwa Republiki Angoli na budowę pięciu jednostek rybackich typu WKR 33,8 (33,8 m Shrimper) wkroczyła w nową fazę - w dniu 28 lipca 2006 odbyło się położenie stępki pod pierwszą z serii jednostek. Ułożone na specjalnie przygotowanym łożu montażowym pierwsze blachy poszycia zostały w obecności gości Stoczni WISŁA pospawane, tworząc w ten sposób stępkę pierwszej jednostki. Po prefabrykacji bloków kadłuba jednostki, zostaną one przetransportowane na pochylnię i zmontowane oraz wyposażone do wodowania, które będzie kolejnym kamieniem milowym realizacji kontraktu, zawartego z Ministerstwem Rybołówstwa Republiki Angoli.

In the presence of The Ambassador of the Republic of Angola, representatives of the Polish Register of Shipping and the management of Navimor International, the realization of the contract signed with the Ministry of Fisheries of the Republic of Angola for the construction of five fishing vessels type WKR 33,8 (3,8 m Shrimper) has reached a new stage - on 28th of July 2006 the keel for the first of the series of vessels was laid. Laid on a special assembly stand first shell plates were in the presence of the guests of Stocznia WISŁA welded together, in this way forming the keel of the first vessel. Afte prefabrication of the blocks of the vessel's hull, they will be transported to the slipway and assembled and equipped for launching, whch will be the next milestone of the contract signed with the Ministry of Fisheries of the Republic of Angola.
